Under the headline 'Reality of pulling a pint leaves bad taste in the mouth', Mark explains the daily reality of managing his business, and how his pubco tenancy effectively penalises successful tenants - with rents based on valuations, those who run a good business and personally invest in developing premises face higher costs, while the pubcos fail to pass on discounts secured from brewers.
